Robert Aldwinckle Thank you for your reply, Robert. Dell is both our manufacturer and retailer. Either way, we don't think they can get out of that obligation based on this, as the end user is us, not the retailer. Regarding "how soon", we're aware of such cases, but again to our understanding that's against EU regulations, as warranty starts from date of purchase, not date of manufacture which only applies when the customer fails to provide proof of purchase.

No one is disputing the visibility of Dell's phone support number. If we charged for phone support, we surely wouldn't hide the number either.
